I have started loving tags, 2 reasons, they give me something to post on my blog, and they give me time to think about who am I…
6 whatever’s about me:
This is the most difficult part of this tag. Here I go:
1) I know nothing.
2) I think a lot, sometimes unnecessarily
3) I like doing what I like, even if it is totally unrelated to what I am currently doing. An I am totally proud of it
4) I can somehow the watch dumbest of movies with utmost interest. Come on, the guy who made it did not spend loads of money for nothing. Aravind- would you like to add something here??
5) I get nervous easily – a nail biter too!
6) I feel a bit different (read weird) in half handed shirts. But I kinda like that feeling.
5 things I miss right now:
This should be just 5 things I miss (remove the right now part) as I have been missing them for quite sometime and will continue to miss them
1) My college life. Those project days, those class bunks, those days at kovalam, the last day at vgp, the kutti sevuru at the gate, those midnight walks, those gags in class, those symposium days, those late night back to back movies, those topics-around-the-world midnight talks, those top ramen noodles at 1 in the morning, the not-so-bad black coffee I loved making, running to the stores jus in time for him to close to buy something to munch on, the 5 rs. Murukku packet and soup combo – a delicacy, kuchi chips, tmb atm, those college night lights, those study hours in the departments at late nights strictly during exams only, the library, engineering mechanics, the nightly bats you encounter while walking in this stretch between the IT department and the hostel, the gujals gang members, those long half asleep bus trips in bus no.4 to my uncle’s place, the kutti sevuru near our class and much more…
2) Room No.111. This was my hostel room no. in my second and third year. It was the best room even though the fan was so fast that u can actually trace an archimedes spiral with a mouse as a volunteer and the windows ever open only that the wind did not want to enter. But honestly, I feel more attached to this room than all the other rooms. The next in line would be room no. 67 in Gents Hostel 2.
3) Chennai. I am in Kolkata now on deputation for a project. Been here for 1.5 months and it will be another month before I reach Chennai. L
4) My mom’s cooking. I’ve been missing this for the past 5 years on a regular basis. Mummy Bhoo-hoo :’(
5) The juice at fruit shop in office at Chennai. I was a regular after-lunch customer.
10 things I wanna achieve in a decade:
1. Get an MBA
2. Write and direct a musical based on Illaiyaraaja’s old compositions
3. Build a house
4. Write better posts on my blog
5. Become a freelance photographer or a photojournalist maybe
6. Complete my piano exams till grade 8
7. Complete my Masters in Science in Mathematics
8. *
9. *
10. Last but not the least – Get a girlfriend – (Now stop laughing!)
I know this is an over ambitious list… but its just the list of things I want to achieve… and as all of you know human wants know no bounds and I am human!
* – indicates that the author could not come to a conclusion as to which of his ‘wants’ would qualify for those places.
The Book Tag **-

I kinda like this book tag. It gives a glimpse of glimpses of what everyone’s reading and what the book is like. In my case I have two books lying nearby ‘Atlas Shrugged – by Ayn Rand’ & ‘The Man who Knew Infinity – by Robert Kanigel’… and I choose the latter. Here go the lines:
In 1910, the minutes of a Cambridge club would alliteratively cite his command of “the university Constitution, the methods of Canvassing, Clarendon type, and professional cricket.” As a young fellow of Trinity College, he’d play a bastardized form of it in his rooms, with walking stick and tennis ball. He’d play it more seriously into his sixties.
This book is about Ramanujan, the man I adore the most. But honestly, the lines above look totally unrelated. Anyways I am yet to reach there (not that I have started!).
May the tag rest in peace!
